This is the first post of a very different kind but i will explain in the next post! I recently purchased a Fuji X100T after falling in love with the X100S more than a year ago…. I got the X100T second hand for a bargain and I’m besotted with it, I then found out you can charge it through the USB on the side of the camera, and while sitting in the garden on a sunny day charging my phone from a Powermonkey Explorer i thought i would try the camera…. and it works, i charged the battery from about 80% full to 100% in roughly an hour. not fast but it worked!
I looked on-line before trying it and couldn’t find much so I figured I’d post this so other people didn’t need to feel as nervous trying it as I did! The X100T charges from USB power blocks, solar chargers, phone charges, in car charges – the lot!
Good job because the camera eats battery like I eat chocolate!
ive had a whirlwind few weeks between the studio hire and some commercial jobs its been hectic to say the least! But had a amazing shot for bumpalicious maternity, mandy was great to work with and like the best client ever turned up with the most detailed shot list a photographer could have asked for! We managed to book the incredibly famous and busy katie green to model (who models for broncolor & hasselblad, and she turned up 2-3 days before getting married! was a amazing shoot with great people and make sure to check out their work below

i was minding my own business the other day tapping away at the computer when a fly dropped onto the desk and died… i was a litte sad (yeah i know, im a bit of a hippie!) so as a photographer i thought i’d take a pic, as usual i tuned to instagram but i couldnt get anything that did the little fella justice… so i popped out the macro lens and a LED panel, and took a couple of pics… i was gob smacked how much detail came out. Anyways the fly is now named frank and he will live on now on the cyber-inter-web!
